5 REASONS TO HIRE A TENANT REPRESENTATIVE

One of the first questions I get from a client prospect is “how much do you charge?”

I explain that my brokerage doesn’t charge the client anything…we participate in the commission paid by the landlord…then I hear a big sigh of relief “Phew”

  1. The landlord is more apt to return calls to the tenant rep than if you try and call them directly. A busy tenant rep will know all the landlords and their brokers and chances are be working on another deal with them.
  2. Tenant reps have all the resources to find you the perfect office space including complete listings, off-market options and industry relationships. They will take the time to look through all and only send you options that best suit your needs.
  3. Look for a firm and broker who exclusively represents tenants and understands your industry. They are only working for you and there’s never a conflict of interest.
  4. Leasing commercial space can be complicated and negotiations can become lengthy. The tenant rep is your advocate and will be by your side for the entire process.
  5. Tenant reps know the market and will analyze all available options, so you’ll never overpay.
