If you are planning to operate near SoFi Stadium during the 2028 Olympics, start thinking about office space now.
This part of Los Angeles will be one of the busiest areas in the city when the Games arrive. Between the stadium events, media operations, hospitality groups, sponsors, and production crews, thousands of people will be working nearby every day.
That means space will get tight.
I spend my days helping companies find office space across the Westside of Los Angeles, and when people ask where they should set up near SoFi Stadium, a few areas consistently make the most sense.

ToggleThe reality of operating near SoFi during LA28
The stadium sits in the middle of Inglewood, but most companies donโt actually set up inside the immediate stadium district.
Instead, they look for nearby neighborhoods where their staff can work comfortably while still staying close to the venue.
Here are the areas that tend to work best.
Best areas for office space near SoFi Stadium

El Segundo
This is one of the most practical choices. It is close to the airport, has a large supply of office buildings, and many media and tech companies already operate here.
Companies flying executives in and out of Los Angeles International Airport often choose El Segundo for that reason alone.
Culver City
Culver City works well for production companies, media groups, and creative agencies that want a strong office environment with restaurants, hotels, and walkable amenities.
It also has a long history with entertainment and production offices.
Playa Vista
If a company wants a newer office campus environment, Playa Vista offers modern buildings and strong infrastructure. Several large tech and media companies already operate here, so the environment is built for high-performance teams.
Santa Monica
For international sponsors or executives who want to stay near the ocean and higher-end hotels, Santa Monica is often the preferred option.
It is farther from the stadium than the other areas but still manageable depending on daily transportation planning.
What companies should secure first

When companies plan temporary headquarters for the Olympics, office space is usually not the only requirement.
Many groups also need:
- Short term office space for 6 to 24 months
- Production offices for media teams
- Meeting space for sponsors and partners
- Small warehouse or storage space for equipment
- Parking for staff and vehicles
The earlier companies begin planning, the more options they will have.
Los Angeles does not suddenly create new office buildings when global events arrive. The space that exists today will largely be the same space available in 2028.ย
A quick example
Recently I spoke with a company exploring a temporary headquarters near SoFi Stadium for the Olympics. Their first instinct was to look directly in Inglewood.
Once we mapped out where their staff would stay, where equipment would arrive, and how often executives would fly in, the better option turned out to be El Segundo.
10 minutes from the stadium.
5 minutes from the LAX.
And a much larger selection of offices.
Sometimes the best Olympic location is not the closest one.
Frequently Asked Questions
How early should companies secure Olympic office space?
Ideally 18 to 36 months ahead of the Games. The closer we get to 2028, the fewer short-term options will remain.
Do companies need long leases for Olympic office space?
Not necessarily. Many flexible workspace providers and subleases can accommodate shorter terms that align with Olympic timelines.
What size spaces are companies typically looking for?
Everything from small production offices around 1,000 square feet to temporary headquarters of 20,000 square feet or more.
The companies that start planning their Olympic workspace early will have the most flexibility in choosing the right location.
Waiting until the city fills up will limit the choices.
If your organization expects to operate near SoFi Stadium during the 2028 Olympics, it is worth starting the conversation now.

Iโve always been someone who reads the room.
It started in live television, where timing was everything and silence usually meant something was on fire. With years of experience behind the scenes in TV production, I learned how to stay calm, think creatively, and resolve issues before they become problems.
I bring that same mindset to commercial real estate.
Itโs not about pushing space, itโs about understanding people. When someone tells me they need an office, what they mean is:
